I was immediately drawn to this elegant woman. She was in head-to-toe red, a true color coded woman and in the middle of a very busy city she found a spot to rest in the shade and read. If you have ever been to Las Vegas you would probably never dub the town "Las Vegas: A City of Readers." This woman was such a refreshing sight.
In college I had a wonderful teacher who encouraged us to read books. To help us in this challenge she let us select our own individual books for our projects. She was concerned that most of us were reading books only assigned through our classes. She wanted us to read real books, for ourselves, not as a class assignment.
I usually read camera manuals and industry magazines. I felt inspired to go to the book store and rekindle my love affair of reading. I bought Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns). So far it's really funny and I love Mindy's show The Mindy Project!
I can't resist a good self help book, so I am reading the book The Happiness Project. The book is substantive and enjoyable. I am only on January in the twelve month project, and I already have had so many valuable insights! Goals are much more likely to be reached if they can be measured and tracked. From now on I am trying to go to bed when I am tired. To get a better night's sleep I am covering absolutely every bit of light, even down to a laptop charger.
If there are any must-read books you know of, do share!

I just started Richie Norton's "The Power of Starting Something Stupid" last night....soooo good!
